Yesterday I had my first meeting for the Redeye Graduate mentorship.
I have been assigned Julia Bunnemann, a curator for Photography organisation
Photoworks.

The meeting began with Julia discussing her work experience
as a curator before moving onto my portfolio. We discussed my hopes for the
mentorship to provide feedback on new work and help my progression as well as my
intention to continue networking with other practitioners. Julia suggested
sharing my portfolio with some of the other members of Photoworks and arranging
a group call with practitioners to continue networking and possibly create
opportunities for workshops and in-person meet ups in London.

My next meeting for the Graduate Scheme will be in the
following months and will continue to feedback on upcoming work I will be making
around my top surgery consultation and my relationship with my partner at this time
in my transition.
